Carter drew criticism on social media for his hip check on Clark, but Green was more concerned about the players around the former Iowa star.

Green, who is suspended for the duration of the 2023-24 NBA season following the game incident, wrote on Instagram that the Fever need a strong player.
“Indiana better invest in an enforcer….NOW!” he wrote in the comments section of the ESPNW post.
Others on social media echoed Green’s sentiments, including Carter, who “liked” X’s post suggesting that the Fever had no one to defend Clark in this situation.
“The Indiana Fever have no hitmen. I guarantee Draymond Green would be a Fed if this happened to Stephen Curry lol. Someone touch Luka like that, PJ, DJJ, someone slide. Don’t they have enforcers? LOL,” Complex’s Kameron Hay wrote to X.

Former NBA player Chandler Parsons also wondered where Clark’s teammates were.
But Carter, who did not answer any questions about the incident, responded to Parsons on Sunday by saying he was “good friends” with Clark’s teammates.
“We’re all grown up and people are still talking about enforcers,” she added. “Hey, get out. Play basketball or shut up.”
Clarke told reporters he did not want to retaliate against the Sky players and damage his team’s chances of winning.
