LIV Golf’s Ian Poulter Blasts British Airways After They Lose His Clubs

But did the man lose his golf clubs?

LIV Golf Ian Poulter He plans to compete in the Texas event on the Saudi Arabia-sponsored circuit, but currently has no club to compete with.

Recently, the Brit boarded a flight from Heathrow Airport to the Lone Star State, but he flew without a single club.

During the flight, British Airways Email “We are pleased to inform you that your bag was not transported with you today,” they told Poulter, adding that Poulter should get in touch with them so the clubs could be returned. (RELATED: This is just awful for LIV golfers trying to qualify for the U.S. Open)

Needless to say, Poulter was furious.

“@british_airways disappointing [sic]”I checked in 2 30 minutes before my flight. What excuse do you have. I got an email 3 hours after my flight started. I was not going to get on the plane unless they sent me my golf clubs. No fresh air,” Poulter wrote on his Instagram Story.

“Furious with @british_airways – my golf bag was not overweight,” Poulter said in another post. Daily Mail“I put it on oversized and scanned it and watched it come down the belt. #pathetic.”

Why has golf clubs become so completely ignored during air travel these days?
