Stephen Colbert Mocks Biden’s Border Order, Age, Failed Attempt to Connect with Young Voters

Comedian Stephen Colbert delivered a scathing attack on President Joe Biden on his CBS late-night show Tuesday, mocking the White House’s new border orders and Biden’s failure to connect with younger voters.

The CBS studio audience erupted in reflexive applause when Biden’s name was mentioned at the start of the show, before Stephen Colbert began his criticism of the president.

While the new executive order on the US-Mexico border has been widely criticized for allowing about 2,500 illegal immigrants into the country each day, Colbert noted that progressive leftists still complain it’s too strict.

“This is being said to be the toughest border policy ever put in place by a Democrat in modern times,” Colbert said, “and it’s a tough one to have as an anti-immigration liberal. So we’re going to close the border, but the wall will be gluten-free and the barbed wire will be pro-abortion freedom.”

Colbert also mocked the White House for putting Biden on the cover. time magazine.

“Yes, he’s trying to get the young vote, where the young people congregate: the print media! Next stop: the airship.”

He added: “I believe it is courageous of Biden to be on this cover because he is in league with his nemesis, time.”

As Breitbart News reported, a new poll shows that nearly three-quarters of voters believe the country is “out of control” and “heading in the wrong direction” under President Joe Biden, the highest negative rating of any president recorded in the Hart Research/Public Opinion Strategies/NBC News poll.
