Hunter Biden’s laptop was not tampered with, FBI agent witness Erica Jensen testified to jurors in Hunter’s gun trial on Wednesday.
The testimony refutes long-standing claims by Hunter’s associates that the data on the laptop was “hacked” or “manipulated.”
Denver Riggleman, Hunter’s forensic expert, argued during a 2023 appearance on CNN that the data in the “public domain” of the “Laptop from Hell” has “nothing to do” with the laptop. In other words, the president’s son’s legal team seems to be arguing that the laptop, or at least parts of it, aren’t real.
“No.” Jensen Reply According to a court reporter, when the prosecution followed up by asking whether he had seen any evidence that the data on the laptop had been tampered with, the defendant replied:
The data obtained from Hunter’s iCloud account was provided by Apple via a search warrant.
Hunter’s lawyer, Abe Lowell, Weakening During cross-examination, he questioned the authenticity of the laptop: “Did you know if the files had been tampered with?” he asked Jensen.
“I haven’t,” she replied.
On Tuesday, Jensen confirmed that Hunter’s infamous laptop is genuine.
The Justice Department determined that Hunter had left the laptop at a computer store and confirmed it belonged to him because its contents matched those authorities obtained through a search warrant for Hunter’s iCloud, Breitbart News reported in January.

CNN also finally acknowledged that Hunter’s “Laptop from Hell” story was real, more than 500 days after it was first reported on October 24, 2020, notably calling it “Russian disinformation” and a “hoax” at the time.
President Joe Biden and his press secretary also made inaccurate statements about the laptop’s origins.
