A homeless Florida man dressed in women’s clothing with the words “I want to kill everyone” intentionally crashed his car into a prison, authorities said Tuesday.

According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, suspect Joseph Reedy, 40, crashed his car into the lobby doors of the Martin County Jail on Tuesday night. Images released by the sheriff’s office showed the Toyota with its door smashed open and halfway inside the jail building.

After the accident, Reedy allegedly got out of the car wearing a woman’s blouse and pants, spilled engine oil on the floor and said she wanted to set it on fire.

“The man continued to make homicidal statements toward officers, expressed a desire to ‘kill everyone,’ threw a rubber snake on the floor and struggled with sheriff’s deputies and firefighters,” authorities said.

The crash caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to the building, but the car only made it halfway through the building. No one was standing in the lobby at the time.
