Have you ever seen this before? this What kind of arms are they? …Amazing!
If you don’t know who Japanese fielder Tadanari Mannami is, then you should at least know that he has a really good arm.
Yahoo writer Kendall Baker posted a great social media thread about Mannami on Wednesday, showing just how amazing he really is. This isn’t just a story of something amazing that just happened, it’s extremely rare. It’s like I’m asking, “Have we ever seen anything like this before?” (Related: This Is So 2024: FanDuel Reportedly Close to Naming Rights Deal for Diamond Sports Channel)
I’m just not sure.
One particular highlight sees Mannami throw the ball (throw it like fire) from the back of the outfield all the way to home plate in what must have been record time to get the out. Wait until you see the footage. It’s seriously awesome.
Currently, Mannami plays in Nippon Professional Baseball with the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters of the Pacific League, but if he continues his impressive performance, he could soon be making his way to the major leagues.

Not the best hitter but has power. Hopefully we’ll see him in the MLB one day! pic.twitter.com/bsGNS7JwVu
