LaMelo Ball converted the roof of his $2.4M Charlotte condo into a go kart track

LaMelo Ball has come under fire this year for reckless driving, with multiple videos of him driving multiple sports cars out of the Hornets arena and running a red light in uptown Charlotte, and he is also facing a lawsuit after allegedly running over the foot of an 11-year-old.

Maybe Ball found a way to let out his love of speed in a place where there weren’t many pedestrians: the roof of his apartment building.

Ball has been spotted loitering on the roof of his apartment in the upscale Trust Building by residents of nearby buildings. After Ball purchased the 3,100-square-foot penthouse for $2.4 millionAnd he bought it from another local sports legend, Cam Newton.

Newton bought the mansion from former Hornets owner Michael Jordan after he was drafted by the Panthers in 2011, and everything was back to normal. But neither Newton nor Jordan had a go-kart track on their roof, mostly because no one thought of putting one on their roof.

Maybe riding go-karts on the roof of a building at high speeds is not such a good idea when you have a history of missing games due to a foot injury? I’m not sure. At the very least, it keeps LeMelo from taking to the streets of Charlotte.
