Former Bernie Sanders staffer says her anti-Israel speech is being suppressed after The Hill fires her

A controversial commentator said she was fired from The Hill for suppressing anti-Israel rhetoric.

Brianna Joy Gray Criticized The action was made on Thursday from her official social media account on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“It promotes ignorance and anti-Semitism.”

“It’s finally happened. The Hill has fired me. There is no doubt that @RisingTheHill has a clear pattern of suppressing speech, especially when it comes to criticizing the state of Israel,” Gray wrote.

She added: “It was only a matter of time before I was fired.”

Prior to the interview, Gray posted a letter that many found outrageous for its descriptions of Israeli military actions in the Gaza Strip.

Gray previously served as national press secretary for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)’s 2020 presidential campaign and was known for responding forcefully to criticism from supporters of then-candidate Joe Biden.
