Former Miami Dolphins football player faces charges send showed him explicit images of the minor’s mother after she refused his request for an abortion.
Xavien Howard was a star cornerback for the NFL team from 2016 until he was released by the team earlier this year.

The lawsuit was filed in Broward Circuit Court by a woman, referred to only as Jane Doe to avoid revealing her identity, who claimed she had a sexual relationship with Howard in 2022. She said she consented to videos of some of their interactions, but others were recorded secretly and without her consent. Sun Sentinel.
Doe alleges that after she broke up with Howard, another woman contacted her and said he had sent her videos of the two of them having sex, as well as videos of other women he had been with. A third woman was told the same thing after she turned down Howard’s advances, according to the lawsuit.
The lawsuit was later joined by a teenager who claims Howard sent her explicit photos of her and her mother after she refused to have an abortion, and claims the child Howard wanted to abort was her own.
Howard’s lawyer, Ted Craig, issued a brief statement denying the allegations.
“Mr Howard denies the allegations and looks forward to succeeding in court,” he said.
“He was devastated because he had to look at photos of his mother – very graphic and explicit photos of his mother.”
Howard sent the photos to the girl, whose mother deleted them in September 2022, according to the lawsuit, but they remained on the phone’s iCloud account and the girl later saw them. The woman, who is not part of the lawsuit, said:
Lawyers for the plaintiffs said the photos caused “severe emotional distress” to the boy as a result of Howard’s “ongoing campaign to denigrate and humiliate the boy’s mother.” The defendant is being identified in the lawsuit as John Doe to protect his identity.
“John Doe was devastated by having to see photos of his mother, very graphic and explicit photos of his mother, but for Jane Doe it’s the constant fear and question of what else there is and who has seen it.” I have written The plaintiffs’ lawyers said in the lawsuit:
“Xavian Howard operates with intimidation and violence,” they added. “Where he goes, there is destruction and two lives have been irrevocably changed because of him.”
Howard was a four-time Pro Bowl selection but injuries have hampered his performance in recent years. He was released by the Dolphins but is a free agent and could play for another team.
