Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson was gifted four concert tickets worth $3,700 by pop superstar Beyoncé, according to financial disclosures.
The Biden appointee also revealed that he received a $900,000 advance for his memoir, “Lovely One,” due for publication in September, and that he was given two pieces of art worth $12,500 for his apartment.
The disclosures were part of the justices’ annual filing deadline, which all but Justice Samuel Alito, who asked for an extension, filed on time. The filings covered the entirety of 2023, according to The Hill.

Jackson’s lawsuit does not specify which concert she received the tickets to, but they were for a concert on Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour.
Vice President Kamala Harris also previously claimed that Beyoncé gifted her $3,300 worth of tickets, according to CNBC.
Jackson, who is set to be appointed as a judge in 2022, filed some eye-popping applications last year, including receiving more than $6,500 worth of clothing for a photo shoot and $1,200 worth of flowers from Oprah Winfrey, according to The Hill.

Justice Clarence Thomas also amended his 2019 filing to say that two trips to Indonesia and Sonoma County, California, that he had initially “inadvertently omitted” were paid for by Republican megadonor Harlan Crow.
