The episode ends with Rogue sacrificing himself to send Tuldar into the other dimension to save the Doctor’s companion Ruby, but it’s clear the writers had left a loophole to bring Rogue back if they wanted.
In 2022, Disney+ “Global Home” of Doctor Who The show is now available to audiences outside the UK after Disney bought the rights to all episodes.
But the gay-themed storyline came just months after Disney CEO Bob Iger promised to tone down the hyper-wokeness that has threatened Disney’s once-unshakeable reputation as a children’s and family entertainment destination.
