Darvin Ham is back in business!

Former Los Angeles Lakers head coach Darvin Ham has been hired by the Milwaukee Bucks as the top assistant on coach Doc Rivers’ staff, ESPN reported Monday. (RELATED: ‘What would happen if you hit him?’: Charles Barkley didn’t like being trolled by Mavericks fans at all)

In his two seasons with the Lakers, Ham 94 wins, 70 losses He led the Bucks to a Western Conference finals appearance in his first season, and now he’s back in the Bucks organization, where he spent four seasons and won an NBA championship with the team in 2021.

Ham, 50, was highly sought after by multiple teams as a top assistant coach this offseason. He returns to an injury-riddled Bucks team that lost in the first round of the NBA playoffs to the Indiana Pacers. Ham has built some strong relationships with Milwaukee’s players, including some of their superstars. Giannis Antetokounmpo.

I’m happy for Durbin because, realistically, he was treated a little unfairly with the Lakers, as are most head coaches who have to work with LeBron James.

But when it comes to how Bucks fans feel about it, they aren’t too happy.

Personally, I’m enjoying that after the Damian Lillard summer of 2023… just haven’t gotten over it yet.
