Fox Corporation board member and former House Speaker Paul Ryan said on FNC’s “Your World” on Tuesday that American voters are making a terrible choice in November’s presidential election.
“We have an historic and unprecedented situation where a convicted former president and the son of a convicted president are becoming president. What do you think about that?” host Neil Cavuto asked.
“Well, I guess in a country of 350 million people, this is an option, and I, like the vast majority of Americans, wish we had a different option than the one we have right now,” Ryan said.
He continued, “I can’t help but think of Nikki Haley. The week she withdrew, she was trailing Biden by 16 points. She’s probably going to win this election by 12 points.”
He added, “It’s going to be a very close race. I think the choices that are being presented to us are terrible. And that’s the choice that the voters made in the primary election, and I’m sorry that we’re in this situation.”
