Jaylen Brown will win the NBA Finals MVP award.
FanDuel Sportsbook has the Celtics star priced at -340 odds to beat the Mavericks on Friday night.
Brown has been outstanding both defensively and defensively through three games, making him the favorite to win the Bill Russell Finals MVP trophy.
He is averaging a team-high 24.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game on 55.1 percent shooting.
Perhaps his biggest impact came on defense, where he was the Celtics’ top defender and kept Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving in check.
Brown is looking to win his second consecutive series MVP award after leading the Celtics to the NBA Finals by stealing the Larry Bird Trophy from teammate Jayson Tatum in Game 4 against the Pacers.
Despite winning the award in the conference finals, Brown was unlikely to win the Finals MVP award.
At the start of the series, Tatum was the -120 favorite, followed by Doncic at +215 and Brown at +600 odds.
The Celtics are 3-0 and just one win away from winning the championship, and Tatum is currently the second-largest favorite (+270).
If the Mavericks pull off a miracle, Doncic, who has the third-best odds at 29/1, will be a candidate for Finals MVP, but Dallas is nowhere near being in that conversation.
Do you bet on the NBA?
Brown and the Celtics dismissed the apparent mind games played by Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd, who called Brown Boston’s “best player” ahead of Game 2 and criticized Tatum in the process.
If Brown keeps the award, he would become the least likely winner since Andre Iguodala shocked sports bettors in 2015 by winning the Finals MVP award with the Warriors at 125/1 pre-series odds.
