Apartment Tenant Takes Alleged Intruder’s Gun, Kills Him With It

On Wednesday, a resident of an apartment building in the Houston suburb of Alief wrestled a gun from a suspected intruder and then used it to shoot and kill the intruder.

KIAH Houston report The resident was shot by the alleged intruder, but then managed to wrestle the suspect’s gun away and shoot the intruder with it.

ABC13 I got it. Two men were allegedly involved in the break-in, one of whom actually entered the apartment while the other stood guard by the door.

A male resident struggled with the intruder and was shot in the leg. After being shot, the resident then grabbed the alleged intruder’s gun and shot him, fatally wounding him.

After police arrived on the scene, the alleged intruder was taken to hospital where he died a short time later, while the suspect, who was acting as a lookout, fled the scene after firing his gun.

The tenant’s girlfriend was in the apartment at the time of the incident but was not harmed.
