“Crackhead Bernie,” an anti-Israel activist and vulgar performance artist, called director Quentin Tarantino a “Zionist motherfucker” while dining at a New York City restaurant, according to a video of the incident.
In the video, Bernie, clad in a bikini top and yellow plaid skirt, walked up the stairs of Che Lee restaurant on St. Marks Place, where Tarantino appeared to be sitting alone enjoying a meal. She posted to her Instagram account on Saturday..
“Quentin Tarantino!” she yells at the director. “Why are you a Zionist motherfucker?”
In the video, he can be seen grinning and with his arms crossed.
“Are you going to Israel?” she asked as the salesman shoved her out of the store.
The footage cuts to Tarantino walking down a flight of stairs to leave, with a rowdy crowd yelling at him on the sidewalk.
As her breasts spill out of her outlandish top, Bernie repeatedly tells Tarantino, who is famous for using the N-word extensively in his films, to say the derogatory term.
“Be careful, everybody,” Tarantino says calmly, and then he makes his way through the crowd of Bernie’s fellow protesters to a limo waiting on the street, and we see the driver take him by the arm and lead him to the back seat.
“Liberate Palestine!” Bernie shouts.
Bernie and several friends then put their feet up the car window and yelled “toes” repeatedly, before Bernie drove off.
