Police say a man arrived at a New York City park in broad daylight and “forcibly” raped a 13-year-old girl.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) said a 13-year-old girl and her friend, a 13-year-old boy, were in Kissena Park in Queens, New York City, at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13th.
Authorities said a Hispanic man approached the teens, showed them a knife and demanded they follow him into the woods.

In a secluded part of the park, the suspect took the youngsters’ mobile phones and tied their wrists with shoelaces.
Police said after the children were tied up helplessly, the suspect “forcibly” sexually assaulted the girl.
After raping the girl, the suspect disappeared from the park.

The boys escaped and ran across the street to the school, where they then called 911.

Both were taken to hospital and are in stable condition.
The New York Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information about the rape.

Description of the suspect
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, in his 20s, with curly hair, and was last seen wearing red sneakers and carrying a green backpack.

He appeared to have braces on his teeth and had a tattoo of a boar or bull with red eyes on his chest.
