Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Returns Key to New York City at Direct Request of Mayor

Sean “Diddy” Combs has returned his ceremonial key to New York City at the direct request of Mayor Eric Adams. The billionaire rap mogul’s action comes following the release of a video showing him brutally attacking R&B singer Cassie.

AP Reports The mayor’s office said Combs returned the keys after Adams sent letters June 4 to the musician’s New York and California offices asking them to revoke the keys and send them back to City Hall.

The city received the keys on June 10.

In her letter, Adams said she was “deeply troubled” by the attack, adding: “I strongly condemn these actions and stand in solidarity with all victims of domestic and gender-based violence.”

As Breitbart News reported, the release of video footage in 2016 of Combs brutally beating his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, sparked shock and outrage among Combs’ fellow celebrities and the public, and now politicians are joining the fray.

The video shows Combs grabbing her by the back of her neck, throwing her to the ground and kicking her. The assault continues off and on for several minutes, with Combs seen dragging her and throwing objects at her.

In May, CNN aired security video of the 2016 attack in a Los Angeles hotel hallway.

P. Diddy said he was “deeply sorry” for his attack on Cassie and called his actions “unacceptable.” Cassie, whose real name is Cassandra Ventura, sued Combs last year, sparking increased scrutiny of the singer.

Adams to Combs Ceremony Key According to a report from the Associated Press, last year’s release coincided with the release of a new album.

Howard University of the Month Honorary degree revoked Following the release of the video about Kathy, Combs was awarded the scholarship and the scholarship program named after him was ended.

Combs, founder of Bad Boy Records, is one of the most influential hip-hop producers and executives of the past three decades, turning his musical success into a business empire.
