Former Democratic donor Jacob Helberg said Saturday on Fox Business Network’s “Wall Street with Maria Bartiromo” that “it’s time to make a change” from President Joe Biden’s “radical progressive” rule to that of former President Donald Trump.
“The tides are turning, the dark blue is turning red. Trump in Silicon Valley, members of California’s very liberal tech community came out of prison to support the Trump campaign, raising $12 million at a major fundraiser last week. Jacob Helberg was there too,” Bartiromo said.
She asked: “You used to be a prominent Democratic donor, you donated to Biden in the last presidential election, and then this week you were there supporting President Trump. What happened?”
“Part of what we’ve seen over the last four years is that, I come from a one-party state and like many in California and Silicon Valley, the Democratic Party has been hijacked by the Squad and woke theology. President Biden campaigned as a moderate and ended up governing as a radical progressive. He spent all his time catering to his base and, ultimately, he’s now completely out of step with the rest of the country,” Helberg said.
