One of the new emerging niches in professional golf is fashion, with the attire of players on the PGA Tour and LIV Golf continuing to spark fierce debate on social media.
That being said, fashion is a subjective topic and there are no right answers.
At the 124th U.S. Open at Pinehurst II, the players were mostly traditional, but some took risks. Sergio Garcia took a fashion risk, but no one looked good in it, while Hideki Matsuyama wore a striped polo shirt all four days, which was also not pleasing to the eye.
Not all of those risks have paid off, but some have.
Still, we gave you a list of five players after the first two rounds, but how many of them made it to the final selection?
To make it onto this final list, various factors are taken into consideration, including fit, color, details, risk level, etc. However, athletes must compete in all four rounds. Those who do not make it through the qualifying rounds are not eligible to compete.
So, without further ado, here is a look at the five best-dressed golfers at Pinehurst No. 2.

Ludvig Auberg dropped from No. 2 to No. 5 on this list as he suited up in a Navy uniform again on Sunday.
Sure, it was a cool outfit, but it would have been better if he’d worn a different color. Oberg, give people a pink or lavender moment. Your skin tone is perfect for it.
When he wore green on Saturday, it was a big win. The color looks great against his skin tone and is unique. Navy is a great color most of the time, but it can get boring if you see it too many times.

4. Ming Woo Yi

Coming out of nowhere at number four is Ming Woo Lee, who was big on Lululemon script this week. He showed off four strong looks, but this blue one on Thursday and his outfit on Sunday were the favorites.
Admittedly, it’s a pretty neutral look, but the sunglasses and flow make him look pretty confident. Lee knows what colors suit him, and Lululemon keeps him looking great every week. The only caveat is that he’s adding more pants, but other than that, Lee is hitting the golf fashion stage.
Ranking: 9/10
3. Collin Morikawa

Surprisingly, another Adidas player to make the best-dressed list is Collin Morikawa. From Thursday’s peach vibe to this stunning green-and-blue moment, the two-time major champion looked well-dressed across all four days.
The blue goes really well with that shade of green, so it was great to see him pairing it with light-colored pants. Morikawa performed well all four days, but his best moments came on Thursday and Sunday.
Ranking: 9.5/10
2. Rory McIlroy

Rory McIlroy’s U.S. Open ended in heartbreak, a defeat that will sting for some time, but the Northern Irishman played cleanly throughout all four days and the light blue on Sunday suited his skin tone perfectly.
His pants were modest, but he got it right all four days and didn’t repeat himself, so it’s hard not to include him on this list. If he’d worn bright pants on Sunday, he would have been promoted to No. 1.
Either way, he introduced four great styles that most golfers will be happy to wear.

1. Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson DeChambeau is the 124th U.S. Open champion. His incredible up-and-down shot on the 18th hole will go down in history as one of the greatest shots of all time. But he also had a great outfit. His outfit on Saturday was awesome because his pants were a different shade of blue.
Decambo’s peach floral polo shirt, which matched the trousers and accentuated his tanned skin, was clean-cut yet bold enough to be memorable.

And while his little striped polo looked a little cluttered on screen Sunday, judging by the color of his belt and pants, it’s hard to give the title of best dressed to anyone else. DeChambeau captivated the crowd and showed how fun golf can be, and it showed in his fashion.
His outfits supported his great golf. His color schemes matched each day, and the coordination was perfect. DeChambeau showed us something different, but it all matched together.
