Former Satanist Shares Her Remarkable Journey to Finding Christ

A former Satanist and self-proclaimed witch has confessed about her conversion to Christianity, saying that at the lowest point in her life she bought a Bible to deny God, but eventually accepted Christ and was baptized. KM Tepe and Sean McDowell, author and professor of apologetics at Biola University, The Sean McDowell ShowShe said she became interested in the occult in college after growing up in a Christian household.

“We called ourselves a coven,” she says. “There were about four of us, and we used a lot of rituals and spells and tarot cards.”

Eventually, she found The Devil’s Bible and “read it in about a day.”

“I thought, I really agree with all of this, She said:

She joined the Satanic Temple and became a “full-fledged atheistic Satanist.” “I was once both a practicing witch and a devil worshipper.

So I thought I was a devil witch. She said:

Although the Satanic Temple is a secular atheist organization, Tepe admitted at one point that “I came dangerously close to theistic Satanism.” She said:

“I knew the devil’s name, and I called him by his name.”

Her mother, a Christian, was devastated by her daughter’s fall.

“It was really hard for her because she knew what the consequences would be if I continued down that path. Tepe said.

“When I came out as a witch, she was like, ‘I want you out of my house.’ I don’t want anything witchcraft related. [in the house], She said: “At that point I was still a very young adult and didn’t care about anything, and you know, a lot of young people are.”

of Tipping point A turning point in Tepe’s life came when her mother developed dementia and later died of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD). Her mother’s funeral was a Christian ceremony.

“I sat as a devil worshipper at my mother’s funeral. She said:

She remembers feeling angry at God and saying, “If you love us so much, why did you take my mother away from us like that?”

“And I bought a Bible. I went to a used bookstore and bought a cheap Bible and I was going to read and highlight all the evil and wicked things that God has done to mankind. Tepe said.

But “it backfired. She said:

Instead of marking verses in the Bible, she began to have questions about God that she needed answers to. She contacted the pastor who had performed her mother’s funeral. He recommended that she read “Evidence Demands a Verdict,” a book originally written by Josh McDowell and later revised and expanded by Sean McDowell.

God showed her signs in her life and she said that God is real. She became a Christian and was baptized.

“God doesn’t hate you. God doesn’t hate anybody. She said, “God is a merciful, loving, forgiving God, otherwise he would have given up on me years ago. “I didn’t.”

Now Tepe is involved in reaching out to others like her, who she describes as a “freaky person.” A person who prefers to wear dark clothing.

We have a very small community of really great people who are born-again believers, many of whom are emo-gothic-alternative. We love Christian Metal music. So, if that’s you, you’ve found us.”

Her testimony, she says, is simple: “Jesus is peace.”

“You don’t have to be a certain way to be forgiven. She said, “You don’t have to be a certain way. You don’t have to look a certain way. You don’t have to talk a certain way to believe in Christ.”

“You can be forgiven. You can have peace in your life.”
