A plane crashed into a mobile home park in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, on Monday afternoon, killing two people and setting two trailers on fire, authorities said.
Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue said the plane crashed in West Acres Trailer Park.
Steamboat Springs police said two people were killed: the pilot and a passenger.
Routt County Coroner Mitch Locked on Tuesday identified the victims in the crash as 67-year-old Dan Dunn and 42-year-old Jessica Pauline Melton, both of Colorado’s Front Range.
“Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of the person who lost their life,” police wrote on Facebook.

City officials said 10 firefighters and off-duty personnel extinguished fires at two homes and several outbuildings and worked to secure the scene of the downed aircraft.
“All emergency agencies are aware of the plane crash. Please do not burden our 911 dispatchers,” the Routt County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. “Emergency personnel are already on scene and are committing appropriate resources. We will update the public as more information becomes available.”

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) told Fox News Digital: Twin-engine Cessna 421 It crashed into a mobile home park while approaching Steamboat Springs Airport/Bob Adams Field around 4:30 p.m.
The city of Steamboat Springs said the plane was believed to have been en route from Longmont, Colorado, to Ogden, Utah.

Steamboat Springs Police set up a call line for residents and family members to contact after the incident, and city officials said all residents at the mobile park have been confirmed safe.
Police said the community room at the Joint Law Enforcement Facility has been opened to residents affected by the plane crash at West Acres Mobile Park, and the Red Cross and Routt County Crisis Assistance are also on standby to assist.
