‘Ant-Man’ Actor Paul Rudd Chooses Jesus Christ as Historical Figure to Meet

The best known actors are Ant-Man and Ghost Busters Fans of the franchise didn’t hesitate to answer when asked recently which historical figure they would most like to meet. That is Jesus Christ.

Paul Rudd responded while talking about his latest film: Ghostbusters: Frozen EmpireHe said sometimes people laugh, even though they think “yes” is the obvious answer. His answer was given in an interview with IGV Presents: Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire It begins with a journey into the past.

“If you could go back in time and spend a day with any person in history, who would you choose?” Simon Harkness asked Rudd and co-stars McKenna Grace and Finn Wolfhard.

“Which historical figure would you pick?” Rudd said. “My answer is Jesus Christ.”

Grace and Wolfhard, already laughing at his earlier answer, began giggling again.

“Laugh all you like,” Mr. Rudd said resolutely.

This led Wolfhart to wonder whether Jesus was real.

“He existed,” Rudd said. “Wouldn’t you like to spend some time with him and say, ‘Jesus, what the heck?’

“That’s a really great answer. Wolfhardt admitted.

“Great answer. Grace said.

And when I say that, people say, “Wait a minute, wait a minute, you can’t say that.” And I would say, “Why?”I choose: Rudd said.

This isn’t the first time Rudd has given this answer: In 2018, he told Vulture, “‘Who should I have dinner with? And I say, “Jesus Christ.” And people laugh. They think I’m joking.”

Rudd is Jewish.

“My whole family is Jewish. My wife, Julie, is Jewish. There is no one in my family who is not Jewish. He told the Jewish Journal: “I did a Reform bar mitzvah. We were pretty laid back, but I was like, oh yeah, I went to a synagogue… We have a lineage that goes back thousands of years, and you just associate it with that. It’s a tribe. ‘Oh yeah, that’s my team.'” And I certainly feel that.”
