Fans praised Johnson’s professionalism in the comments section of Kimmel’s YouTube channel. “Dakota handled the wardrobe issue really well. On the other hand, stylists need to make a better effort in picking outfits that don’t fall apart,” one fan wrote. “Dakota is so poised and professional. The show must go on. Love her. Can’t wait to see this,” another fan commented.
Others questioned why the risqué moment was left on the show, especially since it was pre-taped. “That was awful. She’s great but couldn’t they have taken a commercial break and fixed her dress?” one person said. “This is a pre-taped show. They should have just let the woman fix her outfit so she could focus on the interview!”
