“Because my work on gender equality and global health often requires me to collaborate with leaders of both parties, I have avoided publicly discussing who I voted for in past elections. But this year is different. After women’s health was endangered, their safety undermined, and basic freedoms taken away during President Trump’s first term, I am supporting Biden in this election and urge others to do the same,” she wrote.
