Hunter Biden is no stranger to scandal. While much of the attention is currently focused on his recent trial on three felony charges related to a 2018 gun purchase, let’s not forget that last year the media was obsessed with his complicated relationship with Navy Joan Roberts, his biological daughter with Lunden Roberts.
But it’s likely the cameras will pan back to the mother-daughter duo, given that Lunden is set to release a tell-all book this August titled “Out of the Shadows: My Life Inside the Wild World of Hunter Biden.”
In the wake of Hunter’s federal firearms trial, and perhaps in preparation for the publication of her book, Lunden has broken her silence in a series of interviews. Yesterday, she Alex Stein to appear on “Primetime” Revealing her mysterious relationship with the president’s son.

“What is it like now being a celebrity and the mother of the president’s granddaughter?” Alex asked.
“It’s impossible to summarise the emotions. It’s wild, it’s chaotic, it’s sad at times and it’s heartbreaking,” she said, adding that the experience has also brought her some of her “happiest moments”.
“Can you explain your relationship with Hunter? Did you ever actually date or was it just a fling?” was Alex’s next question.
According to Mr Lunden, their relationship was “never stable” and she described it as lasting “a little over a year” but was “on and off”.
“He was in a dark place during that time,” she told Alex.
“Did you enjoy being with him or was it always a nightmare?” he asked.
“There were a lot of good times with Hunter, but there were also dark times,” she said, adding, “I write in the book about how dark they were.”
“There were nights when I feared for Hunter’s life. I sat there all night watching his breathing and checking his wellbeing to make sure he was OK. I had my phone in my hand, wondering if I should call an ambulance,” she recalled.
Hunter’s relationship also involved other kinds of darkness, including “intrusions and intimidation,” which left Landen “bound and restrained 24/7.”
Regarding Joe Biden’s initial refusal to accept Navy as his granddaughter, Lunden said, “I always tell people, ‘Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, but hell hath no fury like a woman whose baby is scorned.'”
Speaking of contempt,[Hunter] I had no memory [Lunden] or [their] At least that’s what he claims in his autobiography.
“I felt a deep connection with him and I think that’s what really hurt me,” Lunden said in response to the denial.
