The 64-year-old ex-wife of Jordan Hudson defended her budding romance with former Patriots coach Bill Belichick.
Joshua L. Zuckerman He told TMZ Sports The two met several years ago, but she disputes critics’ claims that she is dating the six-time Super Bowl champion, 72, only for money.
Zuckerman and Hudson, a 23-year-old cheerleader, had been on and off together but became romantically involved after discovering they had common interests in talking about business, philosophy, psychology and parenting, the outlet said.
Her relationship with the businessman ended shortly before Hudson began dating Belichick.
“She’s wise beyond her years. Smarter than anybody I’ve ever met in their 20s,” Zuckerman told TMZ. “The narrative about her character is not fair to her.”
Hudson and Belichick, who was still living with longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday at the time, met on a plane in 2021, hit it off over a logic project Belichick was working on at school, and posed for a smiling selfie together. Belichick even signed a copy of Belichick’s book, “Deductive Logic.”
He and Hudson’s relationship went public last week, but the two have been dating since 2022, following the coach’s split with Holiday.
According to the Daily Mail, Ring camera footage was leaked onto social media in November 2023, showing Belichick leaving Hudson’s house shirtless.
But Zuckerman was tired of all the backlash his ex-wife received over her relationship with Belichick.
“I’ve been getting call after call from news stations about my relationship with Jordan Hudson,” he said. “I’ve been in a platonic and romantic relationship with Jordan and I consider her a good friend. I’m sorry that she’s been caught up in all this.”
Zuckerman hopes the “internet trolls and paparazzi” leave Hudson and Belichick alone.
“Let them live their lives,” he said.
Hudon and Belichick were spotted together in Croatia a few weeks ago and also attended Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame ceremony at Foxboro.
The couple was spotted together on Nantucket this week, boarding Belichick’s $225,000 boat, VIII Rings, before going on a date and dining with friends at The Boarding House.
Hudson then returned to cheerleading practice Thursday night for East Celebrity Elite Hingham in the Boston area.
Belichick, who has supported Hudson at cheerleading events since their relationship began, is now away from football having parted ways with the Patriots earlier this year after 24 seasons.
New England finished last season with a dismal 4-13 record.
