Rep. Bailey (R-Missouri) posted on social media that she would file a lawsuit, alleging that “New York State has directly attacked our democratic process through its unconstitutional legislative actions against President Trump.”

“We must fight back against unscrupulous prosecutors who are trying to remove a presidential candidate from the campaign trail. This is interfering with Missourians’ right to a free and fair election,” he added in a later message.

The lawsuit will reportedly be filed against Attorney General Letitia James (D-NY) and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D-NY) over their lawsuits against President Trump.

Bailey said the hush money lawsuit was filed to smear Trump during the upcoming presidential election and that the statute of limitations for falsifying business records in New York expired in 2019.

He went on to add that Bragg never demonstrated “intent to commit another crime,” which would bring the charges back within the limitation period.

“New York radicals are trying to rig the 2024 election, and we must stand up and fight back,” Bailey said. Fox News Digital.

Bailey went on to say that the investigation and subsequent prosecution against Trump “appears to have been conducted in coordination with the United States Department of Justice.”

Last month, Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts for falsifying business records related to a $130,000 payment made by his former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.

The verdict is scheduled for July 11.Number.
