Kentucky nightclub shooting leaves 1 dead, 7 hospitalized

A shooting at a nightclub in Louisville, Kentucky, early Saturday morning left one man dead and seven others sent to the hospital, police confirmed to Fox News Digital, adding that there are no suspects.

The man suffered a gunshot wound when The ambulance crew arrived, He was pronounced dead at the scene, Louisville Police said in a statement.

The deceased was identified as Joseph D. Bowers of Indianapolis, according to the Associated Press.

Another adult was shot and taken to a hospital in serious, life-threatening condition with wounds after the 12:47 a.m. shooting.

The H20 Club, at 25th and Broadway streets, decided to close after the shooting, the Louisville Courier Journal reported, citing a statement from the Louisville Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

“Given our shared concern for public safety, this decision allows the company time to mourn the tragic loss of our employee while also ensuring the well-being of our local community,” the statement said. “The relationship, if any, between the victims is currently unknown.”
