A 25-year-old man was reportedly attacked and stabbed in the shoulder at a migrant shelter on Randalls Island in New York City.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) confirmed to Fox News Digital that the man was stabbed by two migrant shelter residents on Friday night at 8pm.
Police said they arrested two suspects, identified as brothers Jose Deleon, 19, and Moises Deleon, 27. Police confirmed that both have been charged with assault.

New York Post Citing sources, the paper reported that an altercation broke out between two groups at the evacuation centre following a separate stabbing incident earlier in the day.
The relationship between the victim and the suspect is still unknown.

The latest incident comes after a series of attacks on migrant shelters in New York City.
In April, five men were arrested by the NYPD after they attacked another man in his bed and injured a security guard during the fight.

The five men, ages 20 to 33, are accused of beating another man as he was eating in his bed shortly before 2 a.m. at the shelter on East 125th Street.

The five men are charged with third-degree assault and harassment.

In February, police arrested two other migrants at the same facility for allegedly punching separate guards during two separate altercations on the same night.

In that incident, officers responding to a 911 call about the first assault witnessed a second assault in which migrants began attacking the guard as police were attempting to speak with him. The New York Post reported..
