The rapper’s real name is Kentrell Goldin, and on the night of his arrest, he was filming a music video near an abandoned building when police stormed in.

Gorden and 15 others were arrested that afternoon, and officers claim they seized multiple firearms.

Then-Chief Murphy Paul said in September 2023 that officers used an electric stun gun to get a suspect to comply when they attempted to strip search him in a police station restroom.

The newspaper obtained arrest records and reported that one of the officers told investigators the man began screaming, and additional officers, including Lawrence Sr., rushed to the bathroom.

Paul said the officer’s body camera was activated when the stun gun was used and showed the suspect being hit, while a package reportedly fell out of the suspect’s anus, which the officer claims he believes to be synthetic marijuana.

An arrest warrant issued for the officers’ arrest noted that the cameras were hidden and not returned.

Even though the incident was recorded on video, the officers are accused of conspiring to create letters claiming the cameras were lost or missing.

According to the indictment, Thomas was the only officer who struck the suspect.

District Attorney Hiller Moore said Tuesday that charges against the other officers are related to the destruction of evidence.

Representatives for Moore, the Baton Rouge Police Department and Goldin did not respond to inquiries from Fox News Digital about the case.

The charges included a second-degree felony count of possession of a dangerous weapon by a controlled person and two class A misdemeanor counts of distribution of a controlled substance.
