President Joe Biden attacked tens of millions of Americans on Thursday night during the first 2024 presidential debate against former President Donald Trump, claiming that Trump supporters are voting “against democracy.”
When asked by CNN’s Jake Tapper whether he believed the tens of millions of Americans who would potentially vote for President Trump would be voting against American democracy, Biden replied, “Yes.”
“The more they know about what he’s done, the more that happens,” Biden said, suggesting the government would continue to go after Trump through legal warfare.
“There’s a lot more to come,” Biden said.[Trump’s] “There’s a lot of cases coming up. He’s got a lot of issues he’s got to face.”
“I don’t know what the jury will do, but I do know that he’s in real trouble,” Biden declared.
Biden appeared to be referring to the legal challenge against Trump brought by Democratic Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, suggesting more legal battles are on the way.
