If Donald Trump Win the White HouseMelania Trump is not expected to take on the duties of first lady full-time, sources tell Page Six.
A Trump world insider said: “Melania has made a deal with her husband that if he wins the presidential election, she won’t have to fulfill her duties as first lady 24/7.”
The development comes amid speculation that their son, Barron Trump, may enroll at New York University in the fall.
A source close to Melania Trump said, “She’s a very hands-on mom, and she’s already making plans to spend part of each month, possibly even every week, in New York if Barron, 18, attends NYU.”
The source added that Barron would have to adjust further to university life if his father becomes president.
“Barron has never been completely alone before, and with the added stress of being a college freshman and potentially the son of a president in a majority Democratic city,” [Melania] “I want to be close…Melania is worried about the attention he will get if he becomes president. She is also worried about how Barron will be treated at school by the Secret Service’s ever-present presence.” [detail].”
A source close to the Trump family said, “Melania is an extremely protective mother and even opposed the idea of Barron serving in Congress as a Republican delegate.” [Republican National Convention] I’m from Florida.”

As previously reported by The Washington Post, siblings Donald Trump Jr., Eric and Tiffany all serve as representatives.
As for Melania, “She feels at home in New York and at Trump Tower. It’s where Barron lives, which is why she wants him to go to school in New York,” the source said. “Having her nearby gives her emotional and physical support. In 2017, Melania delayed Barron’s move to the White House by five months so that he could finish the school year uninterrupted in New York.

The source added, “Donald is close with Barron but is not going to throw a football around with him as president and head of the free world. Donald has already come to terms with this and feels mothers and parents across the country will understand the love Melania has for her son.”
The source added, “Donald trusts Melania to raise his son just as he trusts Ivanka to raise his children…Donald feels it has worked out well for Ivanka, Eric and Donald Jr.”
