The Knicks star got into a standoff with the Pacers star during an episode of WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown at Madison Square Garden, even bringing out a steel chair as part of an angle, although Brunson appeared to wince at one point during his participation.

Brunson supported Haliburton in his LA Knights match against U.S. champion Logan Paul.

The Knicks star answered any questions about his hand after his appearance, saying, “I just fulfilled a childhood dream. My hand is fine. Don’t worry, everybody.”

Brunson broke his hand in Game 7 of the second round of the playoffs and opted to undergo surgery to heal and prepare for next season.

The All-Star faced off in a WWE ring, without a cast, against Haliburton, who led the Knicks to a second-round playoff loss.

Brunson received thunderous applause throughout the night, from his introduction to his direct involvement with the angle.
