It’s Championship Sunday at the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
Akshay Bhatia and Aaron Rai remain tied for the lead at 17 under. The 22-year-old Bhatia shot a 4-under 68 on moving day and was the only player in the field without a bogey. Can Bhatia rise above the fierce leaderboard and make it all the way to claim his third PGA Tour victory?
With 11 players within four strokes of Bhatia and Rye, anyone could win. FSU amateur golfer Luke Clanton shot a 7-under 65 on Saturday to move to 14 under and could become just the second amateur to win this season.
Ming Woo Lee is also looking for his first PGA Tour victory. Bhatia and Lai have been at the top of the leaderboard for most of the week, but only need one extremely low score to claim their first PGA Tour victory.
So, it’s time to make some coffee, have some breakfast, settle in and get ready for the fourth and final round of the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
