Two Georgia parents have been arrested for one of the most heinous crimes imaginable: trying to sell their 2-year-old daughter for sex.
According to the Grovetown Police Department, authorities arrested Ashley Crowley, 26, and James Tripp, 29, last Wednesday after receiving a report of someone “luring males in the area” to rape a toddler.

The investigation revealed that Crowley produced and sold “explicit” content across multiple online platforms, sometimes featuring his own children in the videos for “extra money.” The youngest of Crowley’s children featured in the content was two years old, and police determined Crowley’s father had targeted him.
Investigators allege that Tripp “had made plans to have sexual intercourse with his 2-year-old biological daughter and had asked Crowley for permission.”
All of the children have since been removed from their custody and placed into state custody, police said.
Crowley was charged with two counts of child sexual abuse and one count of violating the Computer and Electronic Pornography and Child Exploitation Prevention Act of 2007. Tripp was charged with one count of attempted incest and one count of attempted child sexual abuse.
“The investigation continues and further charges are expected to be filed,” police added.
It is unclear whether police have identified the suspects who allegedly purchased explicit material from Crowley or who contacted him about raping his daughter.
