All US military bases in Europe on heightened alert
Fox News Correspondent Lucas Tomlinson joins “Fox Report” to report on President Biden’s debate performance and the reaction to U.S. military bases in Europe being placed on heightened alert due to potential terrorist attacks.
Fox News Digital has learned that US military bases across Europe have been placed on increased alert in preparation for possible terrorist attacks.
“We have credible intelligence indicating attacks on U.S. military bases are coming within the next week or so,” a U.S. defense official told Fox News’ Lucas Tomlinson.
The official, who declined to be identified because he was not authorized to speak to the media, did not elaborate on the nature of the threat but acknowledged it was not related to the French elections.

US military bases have raised their alert level to “Force Protection Charlie,” meaning the Pentagon has received credible intelligence indicating a terrorist attack of some kind is being planned.

The new warning applies to all U.S. military facilities and personnel in Europe, including facilities in Germany, Italy, Romania and Bulgaria. Stars and stripes.
