Sky’s Angel Reese breaks WNBA record for consecutive double-doubles in season

When sports fans look back on the 2024 WNBA Draft class, the Chicago Sky may be remembered as the team that picked Angel Reese with the seventh overall pick and won the championship of the century.

Reese had 10 points and 16 rebounds in a 70-62 loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday, making WNBA history by recording her 10th consecutive double-double. Reese broke the record set by former Los Angeles Sparks guard Candace Parker with nine consecutive games in 2015.
