A new report claims the presidential debate had such an impact on director Rob Reiner and actress Jane Fonda that it left Fonda in tears and Reiner screaming at her TV.
according to CNNPeople at last Thursday’s debate viewing party in Hollywood said Reiner and Fonda were emotional about President Joe Biden’s poor performance against former President Trump.
At a viewing party in Los Angeles on Thursday night, attended by Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, Pritzker, Whitmer and Beshear, among other notable attendees, people at the party said Rob Reiner yelled he’d lost after a few answers and Jane Fonda had tears in her eyes.
Reiner has already acknowledged that the debate was a “disaster” for the president.
“Last night’s debate was a disaster for President Biden, but the choice remains crystal clear: choose a good, decent person who cares about the people and knows how to govern, or choose a convicted criminal who will destroy our democracy. It’s not a hard choice,” he said on X.

As Breitbart News reported, major Hollywood donors have told Democrats they won’t donate to Biden if he remains in the race.
“Several of President Joe Biden’s major Hollywood donors are in a state of panic following the president’s poor performance in Thursday night’s presidential debate,” the report said.

“An anonymous Hollywood donor variety “We received messages and feedback from donors in the media and entertainment industries who were panicked by Biden’s behavior during the debate,” the report added. “Donors reportedly called on Biden to ‘drop out’ or they would ‘not give any more money’ to the Democratic Party.”
