Cavinder twins sign three-year Under Armour deal

The twins will always be the twins.

College basketball stars and social media influencers Haley and Hannah Cavinder have signed a three-year footwear and apparel endorsement deal with Under Armour.

“These two are special. Welcome @haleycavinder and @hanna.cavinder to the team,” Under Armour wrote on social media.

The twins had signed non-negotiable contracts with Under Armour starting in 2022, but their relationship has now taken the next step.

“Under Armour has given us the platform to continue our journey to inspire the next generation,” the Cavinders wrote on Instagram. “From being part of their newest campaigns to trying out their newest gear and connecting with other athletes in the Under Armour community, this is a dream partnership that gives us the chance to push our limits and inspire others to do the same.”

The 23-year-olds are the faces of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), a form of student-athlete compensation that launched on July 1, 2021, through several brand deals, including with Slate Milk, Boost Mobile, Champs Sports, WWE, Intuit Turbo Tax, PSD Underwear and Raising Cane’s.

The two are also co-founders of the fitness cosmetics brand Hustle Beauty.

The duo began posting on TikTok in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and quickly became famous for their basketball skills and workout routines, garnering more than 4.5 million followers.

After spending three seasons with the Fresno State women’s basketball team from 2019-2022, they will transfer to the University of Miami together for the 2022-2023 season and share daily content about healthy lifestyle habits with their followers.

Haley, a starter, averaged 12.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists for the Hurricanes, while Hannah, a backup, averaged 3.8 points.

The duo could help Miami reach the Elite Eight in 2023 for the first time in program history.

Haley, who is dating Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson, announced she would return to basketball in October 2023 and revealed her plans in November to transfer to TCU for the 2024-25 season.

But Hannah needed a break.

The plan didn’t last long.

After Hannah announced she would be coming out of retirement to play for a fifth season with Miami and Haley would be joining her, the two decided to reunite on the court.

“Yesterday I heard the news that my sister would be returning to play at the University of Miami and after much thought and consideration I have decided to return to Miami to play my final senior year alongside Hannah.” Hailey posted on Instagram at that time.

“There’s nothing more precious to me than the bond I have with my family and my twin sister, so being given the opportunity to play together again is something I couldn’t pass up. I’m excited for the season ahead and can’t wait to play for the U.”

The twins seem to be inseparable, having appeared together at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show at the W South Beach during Miami Swim Week.

Other Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models appeared at the big show, including golfer Brooks Koepka’s wife, Jenna Sims, who rocked blue and orange bikinis.
