Brian Snitker went straight for Snickers.
The Braves manager was standing modestly in the Atlanta dugout in the bottom of the fifth inning when an errant foul ball hit him in the groin area.
Ozzie Albies’ pitch was foul straight at 68-year-old captain Snitker, who tried to block the ball with his hand at the last moment.
At first glance, the Braves broadcast crew thought the ball had struck Snitker in the stomach, but further inspection revealed that the ball had struck Snitker lower in the stomach.
Snitker appeared to be OK afterwards, and cameras showed him getting up in the dugout seconds later.
“Oh no! Not on the stomach,” anchor Brandon Godin said after watching the slow-motion replay. “Don’t worry about it, that’s a different kind of stomach.”
“Does the manager wear a cup?” CJ Nitkowski asked.
After swinging the bat, Albies looked toward Snitker and appeared to grab his groin in reaction to where the Braves manager had taken the ball.

The Braves had scored a run in the second inning on an Adam Duvall double and were leading 1-0 when Snitker smashed a foul ball away from his body.
The Braves added two more runs in the fifth inning on an Austin Riley double.
