This fan lost his beer and his dignity during Wednesday’s Rangers-Padres game.
After Padres outfielder Jurickson Profar fouled out in the eighth inning, a fan wearing a blue collared shirt climbed on top of the visiting team’s dugout with a beer in hand in a spectacular attempt to catch the ball.
“My goodness, what on earth is that fan doing,” Padres commentator Mark Grant said on the broadcast. “What on earth is that clown doing?”
The spectator fell into the safety netting separating the dugout from the fans, sending aluminum bottles of beer flying as he fell.
Fans quickly rose to their feet, high-fiving and celebrating with friends sitting in the front row before being surrounded by security.
As fans sat down and tried to enjoy the game, security decided the crowd had seen enough.
“Time for the cha-cha-cha,” Grant continued, surrounding himself with security guards.
“We’ve got some unruly fans,” Grant joked, pretending to talk on a walkie-talkie.
“This guy was at the top of the dugout, he lost his mind, caught a big tuna and then lost a 24-ounce tuna,” Grant continued.

The fan was then swiftly removed from the game by security, much to the dismay of the crowd, who booed the ejection and high-fived the fan as he left.
As they were being kicked out, the fan looked at the security guards in confusion, as if to say, “What did I do?”
The Rangers led 4-2 but gave up runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings before ultimately losing the game 6-4.
Texas has been disastrous in the bullpen department, losing lead after lead and sinking into the third-worst relief pitching average (4.52) in the American League.
The defending champion Rangers lost to the Padres, dropping to 39 wins and 47 losses and finishing third in the AL West.
