Las Vegas Prostitute Murdered When Army Veteran Client ‘Snapped’

An Army veteran is accused of killing a prostitute in Las Vegas, Nevada, in June after she demanded more money.

The victim, Larissa Garcia, 30, killed June 12th, in a room at the Palms Resort Daily Mail The station reported Thursday that the suspect in the incident is 35-year-old Jason Kendall, who turned himself in to police.

The incident happened during a $2,000 “sex session,” the outlet reported, and detailed the police report on the incident.

“Jason stated he ‘lost control’ when Larissa asked for more payment,” the documents state. “He punched her in the face, choked her for ’10 minutes,’ and then had sex with her.” After having sex with Larissa, Jason wrote, he “dragged her out the door and left.” He told police that after he left the hotel, he called 911 to report a drug overdose.

Kendall allegedly confessed to strangling Garcia on June 12. He is currently being held without bail and faces charges of murder, sexual assault and battery.

Shortly after the incident, Kendall called 911 anonymously to report that someone had overdosed in the hotel room, and when police found the room and went inside, they found Garcia lying on the floor with a cut on his chin.

At the time, the woman was taken to a local hospital for what appeared to be a drug overdose, but there was no alcohol or drugs detected in her blood, leading doctors to suspect she may have been the victim of an assault.

The woman was pronounced brain dead and died several days after the incident. Police eventually discovered that Kendall had booked a hotel room, and security cameras showed the couple meeting in the building’s lobby. Kendall was seen leaving the hotel alone about an hour later.

“Police learned that Garcia worked for an escort service and after obtaining a search warrant discovered that Kendall had viewed an escort ad and discussed a place to meet up in the Palms,” police said. Las Vegas Review-Journal report Wednesday.

friend Said Garcia is a mother of two, News Now 8 reported. The outlet reported on Monday that she had become a so-called “sex worker” to earn money for her studies.

According to the nonprofit organization Exodus Cry: call Calling prostitution “sex work” is a false narrative. Exodus Cry said in the video that women who regularly engage in prostitution experience Violence, exploitation and dehumanization when interacting with sex buyers and pimps:

Exodus Cry explains:

All over the world, there are growing movements calling for the legalization or complete decriminalization of prostitution. Their argument is that completely decriminalizing all aspects of the sex industry would make prostitution safer and more empowering for women. This is demonstrably false and would make things even worse for those involved in prostitution.

They also point out that many people involved in prostitution want to get out.

The website also states:

Countries that have adopted legalization or full decriminalization have higher rates of sex trafficking than countries where prostitution is illegal. As legalization and full decriminalization lead to more men sexually consuming and taking advantage of women, traffickers and pimps will capitalize on the increased demand, drawing more women and children into the sexting trade to meet the demand. This leads to more women and children experiencing more violence, abuse and rape.

Exodus Cry In addition, “Prostitution is mainly No choice They are among the most marginalized, vulnerable and defenseless people in the world.”
