First appearance on FOXIn exclusive comments to Fox News Digital, author, actor, producer and conservative Christian activist Kirk Cameron announced that his latest adult hardcover non-fiction book, “Born to Be Brave,” will be published in October by Post Hill Press.
He calls the book “a guidebook for America’s spiritual revival and a practical, inspiring look at how we can transform our culture.”
The announcement of his book’s release on Monday, July 8, follows the news that he recently relocated his family from California to Tennessee. Cameron and his wife, Chelsea Noble, have six adult children.

“There are certainly concerns about politics, crime and the economy, but what we’re seeing is California refugees across Tennessee, Texas, Florida — a whole bunch of talented creatives who are leaving California because they’re frustrated that their values aren’t being reflected in the projects they’re working on,” Cameron said on “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Saturday, July 6.
Similarly, Cameron told Fox News Digital in a text message Sunday afternoon about his new book: “Dark, evil forces are destroying American culture, and our family of faith feels threatened and scared. Many even feel there is nothing they can do.”
“If we want to change our country and our world, we need to get beyond paralyzing anger and start acting with courage and confidence,” Prime Minister Kirk Cameron told Fox News Digital. (iStock; Brave Books/Kirk Cameron)
“But I say, God has given us a birthright of courage, and if we choose to live this courage, an army of mercy will realign the nation with its Christian roots.”
He said, “If we want to change our country and our world, we need to get past paralyzing anger and start acting with courage and confidence. God is always on the move, and we can follow Him because He has given us the power to do so. We were born to be courageous.”
“My sincere hope is that readers will leave feeling equipped to overcome their enemies and start seeing culture as something they should create,” he said of his new book.

He said the book is “filled with biblical insights and true stories of people who acted courageously out of love for God and others.”
“Readers will understand how America’s history shapes its future, and they will understand that politics requires the gospel because real change requires a change of hearts,” he said.
“There’s a growing realization that things are wrong.”
Cameron added that his prayer for all readers is that “Born to Be Brave will inspire you to boldly share the gospel truths with your friends, family and communities to positively change entire societies.”
In an advance copy of the speech shown to Fox News Digital, Cameron said change was already underway and that it was long past time.
“Indeed, if there is such thing as a sense of the mood of the times, I and many others believe there are signs of significant spiritual upheaval. I sense a restlessness within the family of faith for more of God’s power, and among non-believers a dissatisfaction with the uncomfortable feast that secular humanism is offering.”

He also said, “Things are IncorrectA frantic search is ongoing.”
August 24th, Family, Faith and Country As a continuation of the work he launched with Brave Books last year in a divided America, Cameron plans to organize a national event called “See You at the Library 2024.”
“If you love God, if you love children, if you love America, it shouldn’t surprise you that our country and our children are under attack today,” Cameron told Fox News Digital a few weeks ago about his plan.
He said he believes there is a real urgency in imparting messages of faith, family and positive values to American children today.

“When it comes to teaching our children what’s important, we can’t waste time. I think we’ve ended up in this situation because our people have failed to teach their children what’s important,” he said.

“And sadly, we have believed the propaganda and the lie that others, like public schools and youth pastors at our churches, are better at teaching our children what’s important.”
“So what do we need? Courage,” Cameron said. We need hope. We need faith, and our movement seeks to instill faith in the hearts of parents and grandparents so that they can raise their children.”
