We Can’t Worry About if Biden Has ‘Five Bad Days’

“We don’t have time to fret and be distracted by whether Joe Biden had one bad day or whether he had five bad days. I have confidence in his administration, I have confidence in him,” Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) said on CNN News Central on Monday.

“It frustrating to me that the media is literally dissecting every word that comes out of Joe Biden’s mouth and ignoring the fact that Republicans are trying to re-nominate a convicted felon, a convicted rapist, who is still in denial that he lost the 2020 election and who is vowing to destroy all of Joe Biden’s COVID recovery and the 15 million jobs he created,” Wasserman Schultz said in a statement.

Later, while discussing sentiment among Democrats, she said:[W]We must not waste time interpreting the words of the president. I see him walking around, running around the country every day. He is going to be in Washington this week leading the NATO summit. He is the leader of the free world and has been able to defend democracy around the world. He needs to stay and be re-elected to prevent the total subversion of democracy that Donald Trump and his Project 2025 cronies promised. This is an existential issue for the United States, and we don’t have time to fret or be distracted by whether Joe Biden had one bad day, or even five bad days. I have confidence in his administration. I have confidence in him.”
