Former NRA CFO Given 10-Year Ban on Money Management in NY

Former NRA Chief Financial Officer Wilson Phillips was banned Tuesday for 10 years from managing funds at the New York nonprofit.

Associated Press report Earlier this year, Phillips said:[bankrolling] The lavish lifestyle of the NRA’s longtime CEO Wayne Lapierre.”

The 10-year ban on managing the funds is the result of an agreement with the state, and Phillips still must repay about $2 million “to the state government.” NRA for his role Concealment and activation Lapierre “Extravagant spending”

Reuters I got it. New York Attorney General Letitia James said of Phillips’ punishment, “Today’s agreement should serve as an example that my office will hold accountable those who engage in abuse of power or misappropriation of funds.”

As for Wayne LaPierre, he must repay approximately $4.4 million to the NRA.
