Ken, you’re a father!
Gypsy Rose Blanchard has admitted that Ken Aaker is the father of her unborn child, despite recently separating from her husband Ryan Anderson.
“I split with Ryan in mid-March, so this baby is 100 percent Ken’s. There was never any question about who the father was,” she said. “Good morning, America” interview on friday.
She repeated the same comments she made on social media when netizens asked her if the baby was really Aaker’s.
“I divorced Ryan on March 23, got my period on April 17, made love exclusively to Ken on April 27, 28, 29 and 30, got pregnant on May 4 and tested positive on May 24. Ken is the father,” she said. I told them frankly.
Blanchard, who announced she’s pregnant with her first child on Tuesday, explained to “GMA” that she’s more focused on the pregnancy than her ex-husband.
“I [Anderson] “I’m mentally OK and I’m praying for his mental health, but right now I don’t even have time to stop and think about anyone else other than, ‘Am I taking my prenatal supplements in the morning? Am I drinking enough water?’ I have so much to focus on, making sure I’m healthy for my baby,” she said.
The 32-year-old and Anderson married in July 2022 while he was serving an eight-year sentence for his role in his mother’s death.
However, in March, she announced on Facebook that they had separated, and on April 8, she filed for divorce.
Shortly after revealing their split, Blanchard rekindled her relationship with Aaker, to whom she was engaged from 2018 to 2019. The pair were photographed holding hands and sporting matching tattoos.
In 2015, Gypsy Rose was convicted of second-degree murder for her role in a plot to kill her mother, Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, who had Munchausen syndrome by proxy. She was set for release in December 2023.
During the interview, the “Gypsy Rose: Life After Locked Up” star also took the opportunity to talk about her fears about becoming a mother because of the way Dee Dee treated her when she was little.
“I know that given my past, there will be a lot of people who question whether I should be a mother or raise children. I know I’m not perfect. I know I’ve made mistakes in the past, and I will continue to make little mistakes. But at the same time, I know right from wrong, and learning from past mistakes is growth that comes over time,” she continued.
Gypsy Rose explained that her traumatic childhood experiences motivate her to help children achieve “everything they want in life.”

“I want to be kind, so that my kids come to me for any advice, like they’re their stepmother,” she said, referring to Christy Blanchard, the wife of her father Rod Blanchard.
Gypsy Rose said her stepmother is “supportive but not overbearing” and “encourages the children to pursue their dreams”.
“I want to give this baby everything I ever wanted in a mother. My mother told me she would never get married, have a family, have kids, any of that,” she continued to tell the outlet.
Gypsy Rose reiterated, “I’ve learned from the traumatic experience of not doing it.”
“So to be standing on my own two feet now and expecting my first baby is an accomplishment and a personal goal for me, and I thank God every day for giving me a second chance at life to have a child of my own,” she explained.
Gypsy Rose has not revealed the gender of her baby, but the baby is due in January 2025.
