A group of Democratic donors is currently withholding $90 million in contributions to Future Forward, Biden’s main super PAC.
The New York Times On Friday, it was reported that wealthy donors are freezing contributions to the PAC as long as Biden remains the Democratic nominee.
The report did not name the specific donors who are withholding funds from the campaign.
But some of Biden’s wealthiest backers, including Netflix Inc.’s Reed Hastings and IAC Chairman Barry Diller, have urged Biden to back down since the debate.
Mark Cuban said Democrats should consider someone else.
The sudden drop in funding came just hours after Biden boasted about his massive campaign during a NATO news conference.
Biden’s advisers are reportedly exploring ways to persuade him to drop out of the race.
