Ireland Baldwin posted a sweet post A throwback photo of himself as a child with his father, Alec Baldwin After his manslaughter case was surprisingly dismissed.
The picture, which Ireland, 28, captioned with a simple black heart emoji, has received more than 15,000 likes, including from actress Melanie Griffith. Baldwin lives in Ireland with his ex-girlfriend Kim Basinger.
Baldwin, 66, and his wife, Hilaria, 40, cried and embraced in court after a New Mexico judge on Friday dropped the manslaughter charge against him in the shooting death of cinematographer Halina Hutchins on the set of the 2021 film “Lust.”

Soap opera star Eric Braeden, 83, a longtime cast member of CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” has followed the trial from the beginning and supported Baldwin. X wrote:
“We’re really happy for Alec Baldwin. Anyone who’s ever been on a set where guns are used knows full well that the props guy will show the actor an empty gun with no bullets in it. That’s it. And the AD is responsible for that.”

If convicted, Baldwin could have faced up to 18 months in prison for firing the gun that killed Hutchins and injured manager Joel Souza.
During Friday’s hearing, the judge blasted the prosecution for “deliberately” concealing crucial ammunition evidence from the defense.
