Stunning Rainbow Shines over Reds Game during Ark Encounter Sponsorship

Ark Encounter’s corporate sponsorship of a recent Cincinnati Reds rain-postponed game took on even more meaning when a rainbow appeared above the outfield scoreboard.

A vibrant rainbow, a faint double rainbow, arched gracefully just beyond left field, and the sun peeked through the clouds, illuminating the tarp-covered baseball field.

Ken HamThe CEO of Ark Encounter posted a photo of the rainbow on his social media account.

“Our Ark Encounter attraction is a sponsor of weather delays at Cincinnati Reds Stadium,” Hamm wrote last week. “When these events occur, they often send us photos so that we can display the Ark Encounter name on our LED screens. And as you can see in the photo, there was a beautiful rainbow last night.”

of Ark EncounterNoah’s Ark, a life-size replica of the Biblical Noah’s Ark, is a short drive from Cincinnati, Kentucky. The museum features exhibits and a zoo. The replica is 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high.

“The rainbow is always a reminder of God’s covenant,” Ham said.

Ham quoted the Bible: “And God said to Noah and his sons with him, ‘Behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your descendants after you, and with every living creature that is with you, with the birds, and with the cattle, and with every beast of the earth, that came out of the ark; I establish my covenant with you, that no flesh shall be cut off by the waters of a flood any more; neither shall there be any more a flood to destroy the earth.'”

“And God said, This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you, and every living creature that is with you. I set my bow in the cloud, and it will be for a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. And when I bring a cloud over the earth, and the bow appears in the cloud, I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you, and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters will no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And when the bow appears in the cloud, I will see it, and I will remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creature of all flesh that is on the earth. And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and all flesh that is on the earth” (1 Kings 1:2-3).Genesis 9:8-17)
